Our story, the Drewitt family are now in their third generation as entertainers. The entertainment side of the business was started by Harry Drewitt having appeared in a school play in 1924 at the age of eight and caught the bug for entertaining . In 1938 Harry worked with Ralph Reader and had a part in the Gang Show staged in the Royal Albert Hall. Harry launched his living marionette show in the same year.

Pauline and Tony Drewitt now run the business involving their four children. Pauline and Tony are professional entertainers specialising in family and children’s events. They have been involved in many events over the years and have now established an events company involving their horse drawn carriages, entertaining skills including magic shows, puppet shows, terrier racing and with a wealth of entertainment colleagues can put together an event tailor made to suit the clients needs.

Tony found a derelict horse bus in 1973 and set about restoring it. A big break came in 1979 when the restored bus was booked to appear in the 150th birthday parade in Hyde Park London. The bus worked that summer transporting passengers from Baker Street Underground Station to The London Zoo. Since the summer of 1979 a great deal of work has been done with the bus and it has reached it’s 30th appearance in The Lord Mayors Show in the City of London. 1986 – 2016. Other carriages have been added to the collection of bygones including a hearse, wedding carriage and two magnificent horse drawn fire engines. Drewitts have worked with many colleagues in the business and are able to source most vehicles that maybe required for events and especially films.

"Thank you so much for arranging the puppet show yesterday...it was a big hit! Tony, the kids absolutely loved your show and it was a pleasure to meet you and work with you. You are professional, warm and flexible, coming hours earlier so that your set up didn't interrupt the show. It really was a great touch to a fun filled day that we will always remember."
